First Supergirl and The Flash Crossover Teaser Promo Released

CBS and DC Entertainment have released a super-fast teaser promo (the first) for the much anticipated Flash and Supergirl crossover.

The promo also offers a short look into a footage from the upcoming episode. The 10-second teaser is pretty quick, but hopefully it’s not a representation of how long the crossover will run. I’m sure fans are already wishing more episodes even if the crossover hadn’t aired yet.

Take a look at the teaser promo:

Before Supergirl’s PaleyFest panel on Sunday, Supergirl star Melissa Benoist told TVLineof the crossover:

It is the most joyous occasion to have these two superheroes together in the same place, at the same time, working together. They are both so happy with their powers and what they get to do and how they get to help people, that it’s kind of infectious and exciting and upbeat and happy.

Apparently, the “world’s finest” heroes will feature some sweet banter that will make James Olsen, Kara’s potential suitor, jealous. Producer Ali Adler said:

The two crimefighters also enjoy “quite an adorable banter.

If this episode rakes in ratings (and I’m sure it will), I have no doubt another crossover could take place again.

World’s Finest Official Synopsis:

Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.

Melissa Benoist staras as the lead character Supergirl. She is joined by Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord.
