First Look at Superman and Lois Lane in Elseworlds

The Arrowverse is currently gearing up for their crossover event this coming December, and though the Flash and Green Arrow may be at the center of it all, that doesn't mean other characters won't be appearing as well. Tyler Hoechlin will be returning as The CW's Man of Steel and we have a new image of him with this universe's version of Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tullock).

Tyler Hoechlin (via ComicBookMovie) talks about the dynamic of Superman and Lois and says that their bond is very strong. "It's deeper into the relationship, so there's that comfortability factor and they know each other so well. They really kind of have a life together," says Hoechlin.

Though Superman and Lois may look perfect here, this Elseworlds event is sure to tear the two of them apart. We have seen some set photos of Hoechlin as Superman in a black version of the suit, and based on how the other cast members are interacting with him, this Superman will not be a good guy.

Besides the return of Superman, Elseworlds will also see the debut of Ruby Rose as Batwoman. She's set to have her own TV series next year, and everyone is curious if the The CW is building up to an introduction of Bruce Wayne in this universe. With the movies trying to take their time with the bigger characters, it would make sense that the DCEU would want to bank in on the more popular DC heroes while they can.

The Elseworlds crossover event runs for three nights starting Dec. 9 and ending Dec. 11.
