First Look at Pixar's ‘Onward’ Starring Chris Pratt and Tom Holland

Tom Holland and Chris Pratt may be the faces of two of the most successful superhero franchises today, but they're teaming up with Pixar to work on a film called Onward. Just in, Disney has just released our first two stills for the movie.

The setting for Onward is pretty much like Netflix's Bright, what with fantasy characters living in a contemporary time with smart phones and cars. The story is said to focus on two elf brothers (Holland and Pratt) as they journey to find what magic is left of the world.

Interestingly enough, the movie was announced December of last year, and Pratt himself admitted to have cried during the pitch meeting for Onward. Seeing as Pixar has now managed to get the formula down for kids' movies that make adults cry, I wouldn't expect anything less from Onward.

We don't know when we'll get our first trailer for the film, but I'm guessing Pixar will start promoting it after they get Toy Story 4 out of the way. This is just my speculation, but we could get a short teaser come SDCC 2019 this July and then a full trailer when Frozen II comes out in November. Again, this is just my speculation.

Catch Disney Pixar's Onward when it hits theaters March 6, 2020.
