After the disappointment that was Terminator: Genisys, James Cameron has swooped in with director Tim Miller to try and set the franchise back in the right direction. Terminator: Dark Fate will be another sequel/reboot featuring actors from the original films, and Arnold Schwarzenegger has shared the first look of him in the film.

It's worth noting that the movie will also be borrowing the reasoning from Genisys to explain why the T-800 is old this time around. In the movie, it was explained that though the core body of the terminators is cybernetic, the bio-casing surrounding it still ages—hence, old Arnie.
We don't know if this will be the same ‘Pops' from the previous film, but I'd be fine if he was just another old-timer T-800. Besides Schwarzenegger, original Sarah Connor Linda Hamilton will also be making an appearance. Main character duties, however, have been transferred over to Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes. Agents of SHIELD's Ghost Rider Gabriel Luna is also playing the film's new version of the terminator. I'm curious how the movie plans to up the last film's nanobot/John Connor terminator.
For now, the plot is still unknown to the film. Hopefully, we get some kind of trailer reveal to get everyone hyped soon. With Joker coming out in October and dropping its first trailer, what are the odds that we'll get the T6 trailer next month?
