First Lady And The Tramp Live-Action Remake Images Revealed

The first photos from the live-action remake of Lady and The Tramp are finally here.

The images were shared by People and it certainly confirms that the new Disney film has retained the adorable canines from the 1955 animated classic. Check them out below.

The Leftovers star Justin Theroux provides the voice of Tramp, who is played by a rescue dog named Monte. The sweet-faced pup was actually rescued from a kill-shelter in New Mexico before being adopted by Mark Forbes, who serves as one of the animal trainers on the film.

Lady will be voiced by Avengers: Endgame actress Tessa Thompson. The dog herself is portrayed by Rose, an adorable Cocker Spaniel.

In the original film, Lady had two friends Jock and Trusty who belonged to her neighbors. In the remake, Jock the Scottish Terrier will be voiced by Scottish actress Ashley Jensen while Trusty the protective bloodhound will be played by Sam Elliott.

It looks like the Lady and the Tramp remake found the perfect lady to provide the voice of Peg, who sang the sultry song He's A Tramp. We can't wait to hear Janelle Monáe croon the beloved tune.

There could be a new character introduced in the live-action remake. Avengers: Infinity War star Benedict Wong will voice the bulldog named Bull, who is the Tramp's friend.

Lady and The Tramp is directed by Charlie Bean. The new film will be released exclusively on Disney+ on November 12.
