Fans have been curious about Avengers 4 and how it will pick up the story threads from Infinity War. While those story details aren't known yet, we now know a few details about the new team that will be formed, thanks to some leaked promo art. There are new costumes for old characters, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel with a comics-accurate outfit, and so much more.
As fans can see, the roster has all of the heroes who survived Thanos' finger snap. Captain America, now sporting a clean-shaved face, is joined by Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Ant-Man, War Machine, Hawkeye (not Ronin), Captain Marvel, Thor, and what's left of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The art was revealed by Hero X (translated by ComicBookMovie) and it's clear that the Avengers (plus Rocket and Nebula) are getting ready to Avenge their loved ones.
Seeing Hulk back in action is interesting, especially since he has a spiffy purple outfit to go with it. Does Banner need this outfit to turn into the Hulk? That would definitely be an interesting take on the formula.
We see Ant-Man, spoiling many who see this that he will survive the events of his July movie, but we don't see Wasp. Will she disappear after the snap? Or is she just uninterested in this adventure? If the snap means anything, it could be the former.
Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
