First 3 Minutes of The Boys Season 2 Premiere Episode Revealed During Cast Virtual Reunion

The second season of The Boys is almost here and we finally got a glimpse at what we could look forward to this September. Executive producer Eric Kripke and the cast of the Amazon series have just unleashed the first three minutes of the upcoming premiere episode and it is already brimming with action and humor.

Kripke and the cast have just taken part in a virtual reunion that was hosted by new cast member Patton Oswalt. During the meeting, Karl Urban confirmed his favorite Spice Girl (Baby Spice) and it was revealed that Jack Quaid and Black Noir actor Nathan Mitchell always play Super Smash Bros. In addition to that, it was confirmed that The Boys Season 2 will finally air on September 4 and that only the first three episodes will be available immediately. The remaining five episodes will air on a weekly basis afterwards.

So what could we expect in The Boys Season 2? The cast seemed to agree that the second season will be just as bloody (or maybe even bloodier) as the first one. To tease on what will happen, Kripke shared the first three minutes of Season 2. You can watch it below at the 47:37 mark.

It looks like Giancarlo Esposito will play a larger role in the second season as Stan Edgar takes full control of Vought International. In addition to that, Black Noir appears to be up to something. Does it have something to do with The Seven? We'll find out for sure later this year.

The Boys Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 4.
