Finn Holds His Own Lightsaber in Poster for LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special

While Finn was able to wield a lightsaber in The Force Awakens, he never really got to wield it again in either The Last Jedi or The Rise of Skywalker. With The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special being a non-canon continuation of the official timeline, a poster for the film reveals that Finn has his own lightsaber.

We don't really know how Finn gets his own lightsaber in the movie, but I have a feeling there's a chance that it could just be Rey's. Then again, with Finn revealed to be Force sensitive, it would be great if he got to build his own; is it petty to want him to have a different color of lightsaber though?

With Boyega having a recent talk with Disney about his experience working on Star Wars, fans are hoping that Finn, Rey, and the rest of the Sequel Trilogy characters come back down the line. With Star Wars taking a hiatus from the box office, I think that Lucasfilm could decide to wait out a ST return until the kid fans who loved the current trilogy are grown up enough to have nostalgia for the returning main characters.

"The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special" reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day. Rey sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?
