Fantastic Beasts 2 Final Trailer is Dropping Tomorrow

With 2018 nearing its end, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald remains to be one of the hotly anticipated films of the year. The movie is set to come out in November and WB has just announced that a final trailer is going to be dropped tomorrow.

Check out the announcement:

Though we did meet Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) by the end of the first movie, it looks like he's going to be taking the spotlight when it comes to this film. They even brought in his rival Dumbledore in the form of Jude Law. We don't know if we're going to see the two have their legendary duel, but we know by the end of the show that we're going to see Dumbledore eventually win the Elder Wand; that is if J.K. Rowling doesn't have any twists prepared for us to run into.

Besides the whole Dumbledore and Grindelwald fiasco, we may also be getting some more on Newt and his family. We'll be meeting his brother Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner) who is betrothed to Leta Lestrange (Zoe Kravitz). By the looks of it, Newt (Eddie Redmayne) probably has a special relationship with Leta, leading to some kind of rift between the Scamander brothers. My guess is that Leta dies at some point in the franchise—counting that by the time Harry Potter rolls in, Newt would have been married to Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) already.

Besides that, we're also getting a follow-up on Credence (Ezra Miller) after the events of the first film. It looks like he's going to find himself in a magic circus, and he'll be trying to gain control of his powers.

I still have no idea why they brought Jacob (Dan Fogler) back, but he's a likable character, and I'm fine seeing more of him.

Catch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in theaters Nov. 18.
