The wait is over as Insomniac Games has finally announced the release date of Spider-Man: Silver Lining. It's the final piece of DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man aka Spider-Man PS4 and will conclude the bonus DLC that story started last October and will be coming out on December 21. Silver Sable will be returning in the DLC, furious over the fact that Hammerhead has stolen her technology and used it to start a maggia war.
Revealed by the PlayStation Blog, Spider-Man: Silver Lining includes a number of new story missions, challenges, Hammerhead bases, and trophies, just like the previous episodes of the City That Never Sleeps DLC. Here's hoping that this will also lead to the conclusion of those pesky Screwball missions, which are challenging but are a chore to go through due to the villain's annoying voice.
Of course, what fans really want to see are the costumes and they are pretty darn cool. We have the Peter Parker suit from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is an odd choice since it's just the basic Spider-Man costume with different shading. There's also a Cyborg Spider-Man from the Spider-Verse comic book, which looks pretty cool. Finally, there's the Aaron Aikman suit from Edge of the Spider-Verse and it's easily the best suit of the bunch.

Fans will be able to access Spider-Man: Silver Lining on December 21, so fans only have one more week of waiting. Marvel's Spider-Man is available now on the PS4. The City That Never Sleeps DLC can be purchased for $24.99 and gives you access to all the DLC episodes.
