Final Fantasy XV is going to be a Google Stadia launch title and that's not exactly a revelation for gamers these days. While the game has always been fun to play, the fact of the matter is that the game is already pretty old and knowing that Stadia is using this title to market itself is a bit embarrassing.
It seems like Square Enix wants to make the Stadia version of the game more appealing to they announced some exclusive new challenges that aren't in the console or PC versions.
Thanks to a tweet from the Final Fantasy XV Twitter account, we now know that this version of the game will have four new challengers for players to partake in. There's a Challenge Rally, which will have Noctis and his friends overcome some racing obstacles. Expert Duel looks to be a boss rush of sorts, letting players fight the various summons of the game. Endless Magitek Armor seems to be an endurance mode and Magna Flight...sure is something.
While these modes are a nice effort and should make Final Fantasy XV Stadia a bit more interesting, they aren't exactly must-buy features. Most fans of the game would prefer the canceled DLC episodes that would have expanded on the story, which looks to always be incomplete now that the game's director has left Square Enix.
So, what are your thoughts on Final Fantasy XV Stadia? Do you want these additional modes on the previously-released versions? Would you rather have another triple-A game be in the Stadia launch lineup? Let us know in the comments below.
