Fate: The Winx Saga Season 3 is not coming to Netlfix in November 2022
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 was just released globally on Netflix on Sept. 16, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Season 3 is not coming in November 2022. As expected, the third season is not included in Netflix's the list of upcoming films and TV shows in November 2022.
Update: On Nov. 1, showrunner Brian Young confirmed on Instagram that Netflix has canceled Fate: The Winx Saga, so don't expect Season 3 to arrive at all.
"So this is not fun new to share, but Netflix have decided not to move forward with Season Three of Fate: The Winx Saga," Young said. "This is especially tough because I know how many of you loved this season. It's a heartbreaking silver lining, but a silver lining all the same. I'm so proud of everyone who worked on the show, and so happy we got to tell the stories we did. Our cast and crew put in a ton of hard work creating this world and these characters. I'm grateful for each and everyone one of them, and for all of you for watching."
"It's been an amazing four years," the showrunner continued. "Hopefully, we'll see each other again in the future! So much love."
During an interview with EW, showrunner Brian Young revealed that the "goal" of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 3 would be to focus on the Realm of Darkness and "how it connects to our big overall mythology".It looks like Young and the other minds behind the series have a clear vision for the potential third season.
