Fantastic Four’s Toby Kebbel Joins Vin Diesel’s Bloodshot Movie

It looks like Toby Kebbel from Josh Trank's disastrous Fantastic Four reboot just got another chance at playing another comic book movie baddie, this time for Sony Picture's upcoming Bloodshot movie.

After playing Fantastic Four's Dr. Doom, The Wrap reports that Kebbel will be joining the cast of Bloodshot as the superhero film's villain, Axe. Kebbel will be joining Vin Diesel who'll be taking the titular role of Bloodshot and other actors like Michael Sheen, Eiza Gonzalez, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez and Sam Heugan.

Deadpool director Tim Miller's partner at Blur Studios, Dave Wilson is attached to direct the film while Fast and Furious mega-producer Neal Moritz is set to produce the film.

For those who aren't familiar with Valiant's Bloodshot, the comics focus on the story of a former soldier with powers like meta-morphing and regeneration brought about the nannies injected in his blood. Having his memory wiped from his mind a number of times, Bloodshot sets out to learn about his real past, seeking revenge on whoever turned him into what he is now. The comic book series was created by Don Perlin, Kevin Van Hook, and Bob Layto back in 1992, amassing 110 issues and seeling more than 7.5 million copies around the globe.

Bloodshot doesn't have a release date just yet but we'll let everyone know as soon as we get word.
