Fantastic Beasts 3 Star Reveals How Hagrid Will Appear in Harry Potter Spin-Off

There is little doubt that Fantastic Beasts 3 is going to bring back Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald, who both originally appeared in the Harry Potter books. But is it possible that we'll be seeing even more original characters in the upcoming sequel? Dan Fogler has teased on the possibility that we'll see the return of a beloved Hogwarts figure.

Fogler recently spoke to The Movie Dweeb where he was asked about the possible appearance of Hagrid in Fantastic Beasts 3. Interestingly, the Walking Dead star teased that it could happen.

"There could be that Hagrid crossover, which would be very interesting," Fogler said before adding, "Is that what people are saying? I didn't know that."

Fogler also admitted he is a huge fan of Hagrid then suggested that perhaps his character Jacob Kowalski could end up being the half-giant's adoptive father.

"[Hagrid's mother Fridwulfa] is there and she comes to Newt and she's like, 'I have my baby boy, can you take care of him?' And Newt is like, 'Well, I'm a little busy.' And there's me, 'Alright, I'll take care of this giant kid,'" Fogler said before laughing. "I thought that would be a fun connection there."

The second film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald already brought back a young Minerva McGonagall. Although Hagrid's appearance in the third film has not yet been confirmed, it would be a welcome surprise for Harry Potter fans.
