People are still trying to deal with the recent revelation about Nagini in the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald trailer. However, J.K. Rowling has teased on the possibility that this won't be the biggest shocker we'll deal with in the film. The Harry Potter author has hinted at a major plot twist for Credence Barebone.
Rowling has been responding to fans who are inquiring about Nagini's story on her official Twitter account. When one follower asked if Ezra Miller was surprised to learn that Claudia Kim's character is actually Voldemort's snake, the writer had an interesting response. Take a look at her tweet below.
Although Rowling refused to explain any further, there is a huge possibility that Miller's shock would have to do something with his own character. After all, Credence was the mysterious figure in the first film and his return in Fantastic Beasts 2 suggests he is truly important. Could this mean that the former Obscurial is connected to the powerful wizards we've met in the Harry Potter Universe?

It would be awesome to consider that Credence is actually related to the Lestrange family. Needless to say, Miller would definitely get a kick out of being a member of a prestigious wizard family.
There are also speculations that Credence might be the reason why Nagini ends up enslaved to Grindelwald then to Voldemort in the first place. Although it is still unclear how this will work out, we only have a few more months to wait before we can find the truth.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is scheduled for release on November 16.
