Fans Spot What Looks to be Boba Fett's Armor in New Mandalorian Trailer

Fans had been waiting for months for the first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2, and Disney seems to have dropped it out of nowhere yesterday. Now everyone online is poring over every single frame looking for Easter Eggs and clues, and it's possible they have spotted a reference to the OG Mando, Boba Fett.

Check it out:

In this brief shot with a speeder, you can see what looks to be Boba's jet pack as well as his helmet. Since Boba had crawled out of the Sarlacc Pit, we should expect his gear to be a bit mangled and damaged—and that's what we could be looking at in this still.

Word has been going around that Boba would be appearing in this series, but he wouldn't be wearing his armor from the original trilogy. Instead, the armor is said to be worn by Timothy Olyphant's character who is said to be Cobb Vanth. In the Aftermath book, Vanth is described to be a self-appointed sheriff of a town in Tatooine, and he had bought Boba's damaged armor from a bunch of Jawas.

This is just a rumor for now, but I guess Jon Favreau would want a more creative introduction of Boba Fett rather than just have him wear his old armor.

The Mandalorian is still more than a month away, but Disney is already building up the hype. After coming out as one of the most successful shows of 2019, a lot of fans are ready to see more of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda.

Catch The Mandalorian Season 2 when it premieres on Disney+ this Oct. 30.
