Fans Seemingly Spot Reed Richards as One of The Members of The Illuminati in Doctor Strange 2 New Trailer

MCU just confirmed that they will introduce The Illuminati in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness's new trailer. At one particular scene revealed in the trailer, we witnessed the members of the Illuminati purposely hidden but their shadows are not really unidentifiable, especially to the fans.

If you pause the trailer and tweak the brightness and contrast, one particular character sitting seems to have a white symbol on his chest. And we all know who this is; Reed Richards or Fantastic 4’s Mr. Fantastic.

It's a big assumption though but the evidence clearly shows that it really looks like Reed Richards is going to be a member of the Illuminati. And John Krasinski is rumored to play the role following last year’s Marvel Announcement that Krasinski is officially entering the Marvel Universe.

Reed Richards is from the Fantastic 4 franchise and he is a highly- intelligent scientist and inventor and was labeled as the smartest man on earth. In Marvel Comics, he was always a key character because his intelligence is comparable to the Avenger, Tony Stark. Reed Richard’s ability is elasticity; he can convert his body into a malleable state, allowing him to stretch, deform and reform any part of his body into any shape.

We all know that Marvel directly bases their stories and characters on Marvel Comics. And in the Comics, Illuminati is a secret organization comprised of some of the world’s most powerful superheroes led by Professor-X, Supreme Doctor Strange, Namor, Iron Man, and Reed Richards.

Marvel is set to make some changes in the Comics counterpart, the rumored members of the MCU’s Illuminati are Captain Carter, Iron Man Variant (Tom Cruise), Namor, and Professor X. This information are just rumors so take it with a grain of salt. Clea is also rumored to make a debut as a variant Christine Palmer as a sorcerer.

Though countless rumors are spreading like wildfire on the Internet, what’s sure is that a handcuffed Doctor Strange will be meeting them and we will soon know who they are.

Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness will premier in theaters on May 6, 2022.
