Fans Edit Venom's Voice In Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite

When the latest batch of DLC characters was announced for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, fans were very happy to see Venom's character model. The game had been criticized for its art style, so seeing the Spider-Man villain look so good was a legitimate surprise to fans of the game. Sadly, the same can't be said for Venom's voice, which isn't horrible by any means but does not match the fierce looking character model.

In order to right some wrongs, fans have decided to edit the character's voice to make it sound more like the Venom they know and love. Most people enjoyed the character's voice from the older Marvel vs Capcom games, which was lower and much cooler, hence the want to replicate it.

Maximilian Dood, a big fighting game enthusiast, showed what the character could sound like if the voice was modified a bit. The result is a pretty solid take on the anti-hero and one that most fans would prefer over the original voice.

YouTuber CastleGeekSkull showed off his own version of what the character should sound like and it's also pretty good. The user pitched down the voice and added a chorus effect, so it really sounds like Venom has two voices. It's another solid take on the character and one Capcom will hopefully use when the DLC comes out.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The DLC will be available on December 5.
