I think we can all agree that the Marvel Cinematic Universe boasts a stellar ensemble of actors, ranging from A-list celebrities to screen legends which is why it no longer comes as a surprise how Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars want to become part of the billion-dollar franchise which has asserted its dominance in entertainment for well over a decade now.

Just recently, reality star Kim Kardashian expressed her interest to appear in the MCU, and according to the star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, a potential involvement in the beloved franchise would be a fun gig for her. Of course, Kim K was the last person people expected to see in the MCU and unsurprisingly, her declaration was met with mostly negative feedback from diehard followers of the franchise.

As soon as Kardashian made it known that she wants to star in a Marvel flick, the fandom quickly erupted and it's safe to say that she's not welcome in the Marvel realm. On Reddit, her potential casting sparked a huge debate within the fandom and the reactions already speak for themselves.

One user even said they'd only allow it to happen if she plays a character who will get written off right away, which is equally brutal and hilarious, to say the least.

While the idea of Kim K appearing in the MCU seems sacrilegious to many, Marvel has proven that virtually anyone can jump right in on the franchise with the most recent example being Megan Thee Stallion who made her internet-breaking cameo in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Honestly, I totally get where the fandom is coming from because apart from starring in her own reality series, Kim's acting resume isn't exactly that impressive but hey, that's not to say that she doesn't belong in the MCU.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios is set to make major announcements at D23 Expo 2022 which will kick off today, September 9th.
