Fanmade Spider-Man: Far from Home Poster Makes Perfect Connection to Venom

While it's been explicitly stated that Venom does not take place in the MCU, you can't help the fans from hoping for a crossover. With the title of Far from Home revealed, BossLogic has given us a poster that would explain how Spider-Man gets the black suit.

With the Venom movie set to come out this year, I wonder why Marvel and Sony couldn't land a deal where Venom is also included in the MCU—after all, his origin is closely tied with Peter Parker. The arrival of Thanos would have also been the perfect introduction to the black suit. Since the symbiote is alien in origin, one could have latched on to Spider-Man while he was flying off to space on Ebony Maw's ship.

Then again, there are still opportunities for the symbiote to come from Thanos in Venom. Since multiple ships did end up landing on Earth in Infinity War, it could be said that the symbiotes were extracted from there. Even Thanos' alien soldiers could pass as the origin of the symbiote's look.

I'm just hoping that Sony doesn't blow it with this character. They already made a smart move sharing Spider-Man to Marvel, and they shouldn't waste it by keeping all the other Spider-characters to themselves.

Catch Venom in theaters Oct. 5.
