Captain America: The First Avenger Poster Redrawn in Golden Age Comic Style

Chris Evans' tenure as Captain America may be over, but he's managed to make his mark on the giant that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just in, artist John Black on IG has decided to share this neat piece of fanart of the poster for The First Avenger, but in the style of the Golden Age comics.

Check it out:

If you love this, you'll enjoy the rest of Black's work on his page as he's made fanart depicting classic Avengers in posters for Infinity War, Endgame, and Black Widow. He doesn't just do posters as well; he takes some classic frames from films and redraws them in the style of classic comics.

We don't know when the next Captain America movie is set to come out, but hopefully, we'll get an update once The Falcon and The Winter Soldier wraps up on Disney+. While fans are pretty sure that it's going to be Sam Wilson as the next Captain America, it's going to be interesting to watch the ride on how he gets there. Hopefully, the show will manage to hit on some more mature things as compared to the mainstream films which kind of just skim on the issues.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was originally set to come out this August, but production had been forced to shut down thanks to COVID-19. With things slowly starting back up, fans have their fingers crossed that TFATWS will manage to hit its August deadline.
