Fan 'Fixes' Solo: A Star Wars Story By Flawlessly CGI-ing Young Harrison Ford And People Think It's Way Better Than the Actual Film

Following the attempts to make the Princess Leia CGI in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story more accurate (check that one out here), the same talented Star Wars fan is back at it, this time to add the original Han in his prequel film Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Alden Ehrenreich played the young version of the smuggler-turned-hero in the spinoff. While he had the mannerisms and the look, it still felt off to some. Thankfully, the amazing Derpfakes has once again used his skills to give fans the chance to see what could have been.

The talented YouTuber says that he used footage and stills of a pre-1977 Ford to make Han look like the real younger version of himself. Sure enough, he did not disappoint. Even though the clip only ran for a minute and a half, to some, it made Solo so much better.

Based on the comment section, people were so blown away that this one guy can do "God's work," as one commenter put it, better than specialists hired by Disney and Lucasfilm. It's crazy to think about what he can do with complete resources at his disposal. See it for yourself below:

In fact, people want Derpfakes to "fix" the entire Solo movie, which will probably take so long to do (not even including the rendering) and also do a young version of the original Lando Calrissian played by Billy Dee Williams. You see the interaction of the two friends in the video the Star Wars fan made, but it was still Donald Glover in the role.

With Marvel's de-aging technology, which they used on Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg in Captain Marvel as well as Robert Downey Jr. in Captain America: Civil War, the possibilities are endless. It gives older actors the chance to reprise their characters, but it won't come cheap. So, this could be the next best thing.

Solo remains the poorest performing Star Wars film to date even though the majority of people agree that it wasn't bad at all. Unfortunately, it was mired with controversies leading to its release. Ehrenreich apparently needed an acting coach and the initial directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were fired mid-production so a new one, Ron Howard, had to step in.

What do you think of the Derpfakes' take on Solo: A Star Wars Story?
