Fallen Order: Respawn's Star Wars Game is about a Padawan Surviving Order 66

With EA Play came some big reveals with Star Wars Battlefront II, but we're also getting some new info on Respawn's upcoming Star Wars game. As it turns out, the game is called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and it will focus on a young Padawan surviving the Jedi purge in Revenge of the Sith.

As per EA's official description:

From Respawn Entertainment comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original Star Wars™ story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars™: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith™. The game will be releasing Holiday 2019. Sign up for our newsletter to be among the first to learn more about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™.

No official images of clips have been released for the game, but a lot of people are guessing that we'll get our first look in the upcoming Star Wars Celebration next year. Then again, with a release coming in the Holidays of 2019, we could be looking at some earlier teasers late 2018.

With Star Wars games like Battlefront being more focused on guns and shooters, I guess fans will appreciate a classic Jedi platformer a la Force Unleashed. Then again, this could be a completely different animal. Who knows?

We'll just have to wait and see till EA reveals more.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comes out Holiday 2019.
