Falcon and The Winter Soldier Set Photo Reveals Batroc the Leaper's New Ally

There is little doubt that people are very excited now that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has resumed production. After all, that would mean new updates on Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie at work. However, it looks like Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson are not the only ones with exciting new developments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. A new set photo shows Batroc the Leaper hanging out with an unexpected new ally.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier set photo was shared on Instagram and features Batroc actor Georges St-Pierre taking a break from filming. Interestingly, St-Pierre is shown with new co-star Erin Kellyman. Check it out below.

This may seem like an unassuming picture but it's actually evidence of previous reports about Kellyman's character. It was previously reported that the scene also includes Desmond Chiam and Kellyman's character is supposed to show off her powers to the two other characters. This has led to speculations that the Solo: A Star Wars Story actress is actually playing Songbird, the comic book villain who eventually becomes a member of the Thunderbirds.

So does this confirm that Songbird will be working with Batroc the Leaper? Although most believe that the two are set to be some of the villains in the Disney+ show, there are also speculations that Kellyman's character will have a change of heart and decide to take Bucky and Sam's side. However, this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
