Ezra Miller Says The Flash Movie Will Feature 'Speedster Multiverse'

The wait continues for The Flash solo movie but Ezra Miller assures fans that the DC Extended Universe flick will be well worth the wait. The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star has just revealed that the movie will feature a "Speedster multiverse."

Miller had previously addressed the long wait for The Flash movie in an interview promoting Fantastic Beasts 2. The Justice League actor revealed that the reason why it's taking so long is that the cast and crew are "very meticulously focused on making a movie that is just not one of the greatest superhero movies that we can possibly make, this movie is also going to be a gift to the fans."

So what can we look forward to when The Flash actually begins production and premieres some time in the near future? Miller says that there will be a lot of Speedsters in the film.

"We are talking about sparking a whole new universe, which is not just the DC multiverse, it's also, it's the Speedster multiverse. And the Speedsters are the ones who connect all of the disparate pieces," he said.

This certainly sounds exciting but Miller claims they are still working on several elements in the film's storyline. Although he is aware that people are getting impatient, Miller wants to assure fans that they will get exactly what they want from The Flash.

"We won't make the film unless it is going to be this consummate beautiful offering to the fans and to everybody," Miller said. "We are going to make a fantastic movie, but we are really focusing on making it this like super gift to DC fans."

Here's hoping that things work out for the project and Miller begins work on The Flash really soon.

The Flash is currently scheduled for release in 2021.
