Ewan McGregor Definitely Would Want To Return For A Sequel To Christopher Robin

Ewan McGregor might not be sure whether or not Lucasfilm would want him to play Obi-Wan Kenobi again, but the British actor is pretty sure that he'd want to sign up for a sequel to the family film Christopher Robin.

Speaking together with IOL for an interview about the work he put into the Winnie the Pooh live-action movie directed by Marc Forster, McGregor admitted that he was eager to return and reprise his role in a Christopher Robin sequel if Disney ever decides on making one for fans.

There might not be talks of a sequel just yet, but there's a lot of hope that Christopher Robin might get itself a follow-up after raking in decent numbers for the Mickey Mouse House at the box office.

"Totally ready for the sequel. It was never mentioned when we shot it [but] I'd be happy to do it again. I'd be up for it. I'll sign on the dotted line right now," McGregor told the publication during the interview.

For those who haven't seen the film yet, Christopher Robin features the troubles of the life of an older version of the lead character Christopher Robin. Struggling to find balance between his work and family, McGregor's version of Christopher Robin runs across Winnie the Pooh again, and somehow by finding his old friends, he finds a newer perspective in life.
