Magic: The Gathering esports is about o kick off with a 2020 partial season that includes Players Tour Finals and Regionals (tabletop), Grand Prix events, and a Mythic Invitational.
The partial tabletop MTG 2020 partial season runs from Jan. 10 to July 26, and a fully 2020-2021 season will start in August, and the next Magic World Championship will happen at the end of the season.
Players Tour Schedule
Throughout the MTG 2020 partial season, the Players Tour is divided into two series: There are two Players Tour Finals with three regional tournaments feeding into one final per series, so there's a total of six regionals.

Grand Prix schedule
Several Grand Prix tournaments that will take place in Magicfests are contained within the Players Tour series throughout the 2020 partial season. Players can qualify for Players Tour tournament or final based on their performance in Grand Prix events.
CFB Events recently announced the formats for twelve Grand Prix events this year. Wizards of the Coast and CFB Events are expected to announce the formats for the rest of the Grand Prix events coming later this year.
