Evangeline Lilly Celebrates Wrapping Up Her Scenes In The Avengers 4 Reshoots

It looks like Ant-Man and the Wasp star Evangeline Lilly has just finished her scenes in the reshoots for Avengers 4.

Taking to Instagram, the actress portraying the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Hope Van Dyne, otherwise known as The Wasp, just recently shared an image of herself celebrating with a bottle of champagne. In the caption, Lilly writes that she's officially done with her work on Avengers 4 and that she's finally "going home."

This is definitely interesting news for Marvel fans. Though Lilly was never part of Avengers: Infinity War, during the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, her character hope also turned into dust the same way Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther and Tom Holland's Spider-Man did in the first installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie.

Of course, while the deaths of these characters have been nothing short of heartbreaking and dramatic, fans are all expecting the dead members of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy to return after Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans) and the rest of the survivors try to undo Thanos' horrifying "finger-snap" massacre.

Besides, Lilly has hinted before

that she'd be playing a role in Avengers 4, telling fans in interviews that she'd be appearing in the movie though she wouldn't be in it "very much, so don't get your hopes up."

With her scenes in the film wrapped up, we can only wonder what kind of sequences Hope is going to get in the sequel to Infinity War. Let's just wait and see.

Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019.
