Evan Peters Reveals True Feelings About WandaVision's Divisive Ralph Bohner Twist

To a lot of fans, Evan Peters is the best live-action version of Quicksilver which is why people were thrilled to see him in WandaVision as "Pietro Maximoff". Viewers were also under the impression that Evan's version of the character is actually crossing over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that the multiverse is set to come into play but turns out, none of the theories surrounding him — including the viral Mephisto rumor were true.

In the show's action-packed finale episode, it was revealed that Evan was actually a Westview local named Ralph Bohner and that he was just some random guy who was under the control of Agnes aka Agatha Harkness. Unsurprisingly, there were fans who were furious with the "underwhelming" twist but the actor has never addressed the matter.

Now, close to two months following the series finale, the former X-Men star is finally breaking his silence about the divisive MCU twist which a lot of fans described as "anticlimactic". In a recent interview with some of the students of Pace University (via ComicBookMovie), Peters revealed that he found the Ralph Bohner reveal hilarious.

He explains: I didn't know his last name was Bohner. So, there's that scene where I'm upstairs in my man cave, and I'm explaining to [Monica Rambeau]... she looks at the headshot, and she says 'Ralph Bohner!' And I was like, 'Bohner?!' I started hysterically laughing because I had no idea that my last name was Bohner. I knew that from the beginning that he was Ralph, and that he was being controlled by the witch.

To be fair, WandaVision's finale didn't exactly explore Ralph's backstory and he was conspicuously missing following the aftermath of Wanda and Agatha's epic clash. It's also worth noting that the people behind the show are keeping mum about Ralph's MCU future so I'm assuming we'll see Peters back in the franchise and something tells me he'll play a much more significant role. All we gotta do is wait.

WandaVision is streaming on Disney+.
