Eva Green Looks Perfect As The Witcher's Yennefer In New Fan Art

People certainly have their ideas on who should be cast in Netflix's The Witcher series. Although we already have our Geralt of Rivia in Justice League's Henry Cavill, the network has not yet announced who will play Yennefer or Ciri. But is it possible that Eva Green could take over as the violet-eyed sorceress?

A new fan art posted on Reddit has reimagined the Penny Dreadful actress as Yennefer of Vengerberg complete with raven hair and flashing violet eyes. Check it out below.

Green has certainly played several memorable characters in her amazing career. She portrayed the Bond Girl Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale and was stunning as Artemisia in 300: Rise of an Empire. Green is certainly an interesting choice for Yennefer and there is little doubt that she has the acting chops to pull off the role. Perhaps Netflix will notice the fan art and call on the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children star soon.

Although there have been no updates yet on who is being considered to play Yennefer in The Witcher, a different casting call has been making headlines. There is so much controversy over a rumor that Netflix is looking to cast an actress of color to portray Ciri in the series. Fans have even gone out of their way to start a petition asking the network to consider white actresses to try out for the role.

The Witcher series is expected to begin production later this year. The show could then debut on Netflix by 2019.
