Moon Knight Star Ethan Hawke Is Still Campaigning to Join the Star Wars Franchise

Oscar-nominated actor Ethan Hawke made his mark in the MCU recently when he played the villainous Arthur Harrow in Moon Knight. However, despite being part of the biggest franchise in Hollywood, he still has his eyes on getting involved in another major franchise that is set in the galaxy far, far away which is something that he has been campaigning for years.

In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Hawke revealed that he is still open to joining the Star Wars franchise and expressed his optimism that perhaps "they've got something really good in mind" for him to play which is why they didn't cast him before in any of their projects.

"Isn't it amazing? I mean, I did a hard public pitch! I know, and I see all these great people in these things and I could have played that part," Hawke said. "I could have played that part. I guess somebody up there doesn't like me... I think they've got something-- what I make myself feel better is I think they've got something really good in mind."

The Moon Knight star also went on to praise the recent Obi-Wan Kenobi series, "Exactly. I want something really good. But I am enjoying the new Obi-Wan series."

It is great to hear that Hawke is still interested to join the Star Wars franchise. Fortunately, Lucasfilm is currently developing a lot of projects on both television and feature film sides so there are still a lot of opportunities for him to be part of it and there are more available roles that he can play there in the future when it happens.

It would be interesting to see whether Lucasfilm will finally give in to Hawke's campaign and finally consider him for a major role in one of their projects. As they always say, it's never a mistake to add talent and Hawke certainly has the caliber to carry a Star Wars project or play an interesting and juicy role whether it's on the good or bad side.
