The fastest among all Eternals, Makkari is likened to Mercury, and the speed she has is at unprecedented levels. Yes, Makkari also has other abilities like other Eternals but speed is his cup of tea. Because of this, Makkari has a force field around his skin for protection which could give him fast healing, flight, limited telepathy, and underwater breathing. Her powers can even cause cyclones.

Makkari, “The Teller,” could communicate with an asleep Celestial which could result in a global cataclysm. Lauren Ridloff plays the character as a gender-swapped role and opens diversity and representation in the MCU being the first deaf superhero of Marvel.

In the comics, Makkari is a man who has an inclination to present himself as a woman.
