It has been a long wait but we finally have our first teaser from Eternals. Not surprisingly, fans are loving how the footage from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick has given us our first glimpse at Kit Harington as Dane Whitman aka Black Knight.
The teaser opens with the Eternals arriving on Earth and helping humanity build civilizations. At one point, Ajak points out that they have never interfered with anything else until now.
The threat against the Eternals is not revealed although it looks like they will need to work together to go up against it. Needless to say, we can't wait to get a full trailer that reveals a bit more about the MCU movie.
Although it might still be a long wait for the official trailer, fans are loving how the Eternals teaser finally showed Harington's mysterious character. Dane was notably absent in the footage featured in the Marvel promo that teased the upcoming movies. Luckily, Dane has popped up in the new teaser and he's hanging out with Sersi.
The premise of Eternals reads as follows:
"After an unexpected tragedy following the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Eternals—an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years—reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants."
Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao and boasts of an all-star cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Gil Birmingham, Harish Patel, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie. The film will hit theaters on November 5, 2021.
