It's been a while since fans got an update on Marvel's Eternals. Amid the lack of content for the upcoming film, Kumail Nanjiani, who plays the role of Kingo in the movie, promises fans that the wait will be worth it.

Nanjiani recently tweeted about working with director Chloe Zhao for Eternals, this then prompted some fans to ask the actor about the upcoming film, expressing interest in any kind of update about Eternals. Unfortunately, Nanjiani's in the dark as the rest of us but promised that the movie won't disappoint.

"I know there isn't much news yet!" the actor wrote. "I'm in the dark too, trust me. I can't wait for it, whenever it comes."

"But I promise the movie will be worth the wait," pointing out that it's the biggest and "most exciting" project he has ever been a part of and that the scale of it is "unlike anything" he's ever seen. You can check out his tweets below!

As always, plot details are being kept under wraps. We do know that the film is set post-Avengers: Endgame, where the Eternals reunite after thousands of years to fight off the Deviants. In addition, there's also a Bollywood style number featuring Nanjiani's character included in the movie.

Alongside Nanjiani, Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan, and Kit Harington. The movie is currently set for release on February 12, 2021.
