Eternals Star Kumail Nanjiani Addresses Future MCU Return

There is little doubt that people are wondering about what's in store for the characters we met in Eternals as the Marvel Cinematic Universe moves forward with new projects. Will any of the Eternals return to aid humanity all over again? Kumail Nanjiani has spoken up about the possibility of Kingo showing up in a new project.

Kumail Nanjiani recently spoke to Collider where he admitted that he has yet to hear from Marvel Studios regarding his character's future.

"I'm completely in the dark. I have no idea what's going on. Truly no idea what's going on. I genuinely don't know when or if Kingo is coming back to the MCU. I really have no idea," Nanjiani said.

Although he has yet to learn about Kingo's future, Nanjiani pointed out that he is hyped up for the new MCU projects.

"I'm just really excited about the direction they're going," he said. "The new people they've cast are really good."

Interestingly, Nanjiani pointed out that he has already seen Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and he was quick to praise the sequel.

"I just saw the new Black Panther movie, and I've never seen a blockbuster like that, that's so complicated and tragic, in so many different ways, but also really fun and funny and thrilling," he said. "So, I think they're really stretching and doing some great stuff right now. I'd love to come back and do stuff, but I genuinely have no idea."

For now, it is unclear what will happen to Kingo and the rest of the Eternals after the first film concluded with three of them being taken away by Arishem. Hopefully, we'll get an update on the sequel soon.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
