Epik High will once again grace the Coachella stage as the hip-hop group receives an invitation to attend the festival for the third time.

Epik High's management agency revealed on January 13 that the group had been invited to perform at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022, the US’ largest music festival.

As the first Korean act to receive an invitation from the festival a total of three times, this grants Epik High another opportunity to showcase its endless growth as a hip-hop group and to present yet another explosive performance.

Epik High Is The First Korean Artists To Perform At Coachella In 2016

Coachella is the largest music festival that is held every spring for two weeks in America. Several musicians attend the event regardless of the genre, whether it is hip-hop, rock, or electronic.

Epik High was the first Korean act to perform at the Coachella in 2016. The second time was in 2020; however, the festival was canceled due to COVID-19. Supposedly, BIGBANG was also set to reunite on the Coachella stage.

Epik High is scheduled to perform at Coachella on April 15 and 22. The group will create another history alongside western pop singers Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more.

Epik High Teases Comeback

Epik High has teased fans with the announcement of a new album, which will be released before the band's appearance at Coachella in April. Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz aim to return in 2022 with the second installment of their tenth full-length album Epik High Is Here.

The group debuted in October 2003 with the first album, Map of the Human Soul. The hip hop group consists of members Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz.

The group went on a short hiatus from 2010 until 2012, when Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz enlisted for their mandatory military service. While the two members were away, Tablo signed with YG Entertainment to release his solo album.

At present, Epik High has released over ten albums with several collaborations with Kpop artists such as 2ne1's Park Bom and CL, Lee Hi, IU, Heize, Zico, Giriboy, B.I, and more.
