It’s fair to say that Goro Taniguchi is one of the most well-known anime directors in the industry right now. He is best known for directing Code Geass, an iconic anime of the 2000s.

Since then, Taniguchi has also worked on various other titles, including One Piece Film: Red, Estab Life: Great Escape, and Bloody Escape.

For his latest work, Taniguchi teamed up with Azuki and Dentsu for an anthology series. Titled Enter the Garden, this anime will have three separate stories.

The first of these stories is titled The Waiting Man. It will follow Haru, a skater who has always felt she was a misfit. Soon, Haru meets T.K., a mysterious man sitting beside a vending machine.

There’s not much information about the first part’s story aside from this, but what is confirmed is that it will feature some notable voice cast members.

To start, part 1 of Taniguchi’s new anime will feature Akari Kito, the popular VA who is best known for voicing Nezuko in Demon Slayer, Suzune Horikita in Classroom of the Elite, and Mio in Tsukimichi.

Presumably, she will voice Haru in this first part, though the exact details of each VA’s role have not been shared yet.

Joining Kito is Tomokazu Sugita, a veteran VA who has voiced a wide array of popular characters, including Gintoki from Gintama, Escanor in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Rounding out the voice cast is Jun Fukuyama, the voice actor of Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass, Kraft Lawrence in Spice and Wolf, and Koro-sensei in Assassination Classroom.
