Engage Kiss recently made its anime debut as part of the Summer 2022 anime line-up. It is under the multi-media project called Project Engage. The adventure anime is known for its modernized fight scenes and high-quality animation.
Ayano’s Age, Full Name, and Voice Actor
Yugiri Ayano is a 20-year-old female with blue hair. She is an elite agent of one of the biggest PMCs that aims to eliminate demons, called the AAA Defender Co. PMC. She is voiced by Lynn in the Japanese dubbed version and Suzie Yeung plays her in the English dubbed version.
She is the senior and ex-girlfriend of Shu, and the two of them are growing distant as he is currently involved with Kisara. She is known to be kind, sweet, and caring, especially when she was still with Shu.
Her tsundere side appears whenever Shu is involved considering that she still has feelings for him. She would get mad whenever he would interact with other women, especially with Kisara.
Kisara’s Age, Full Name, and Voice Actor
Kisara is a powerful demon who was sealed inside a cave before Shu discovered her. She takes on the form of a high school girl and only a few know her true identity.
As Shu’s current partner, she helps him exterminate demons and attends school with him in Veyron City.
As a demon, Kisara is more than 100 years old but she still looks like a teenage girl. She is played by Saya Aizawa in the original Japanese version while Kayli Mills is the voice actor for the English dubbed version.
Unlike other demons we are familiar with in other anime, Kisara is rather caring, polite, and gentle. She is madly in love with Shu and would do anything for him, including paying his bills, cleaning his place, and managing the finances of his company.
Her yandere and obsessive sides appear whenever he is interacting with Ayano. Despite that, Kisara tries her best to still be mature and prioritize his happiness instead of hers.
Shu’s Age, Full Name, and Voice Actor
Ogata Shu is the main protagonist of Engage Kiss. He is 20 years old and is voiced by Soma Saito, for the Japanese version, and Howard Wang for the English dubbed version.
Shu is the founder of I&S or Isamu and Shu office, which is in charge of exterminating demons.
He used to work at AAA Defender Co but decided to start his own company instead with the help of Kisara. He is struggling to pay his bills and his business is not doing as good as he hoped.
Nevertheless, he still plans to get revenge and punish those who killed his parents and sister.
The only problem is that his revenge could encourage him to break city laws which could make him an enemy of the government. He must decide until then what path he should take.
