Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, people are urged to self-quarantine in order to minimize the risk of getting infected. Of course, this is no joking matter, but the folks over at "How It Should Have Ended" YouTube channel provides a video to make some people laugh during such unfortunate times. The video imagines some of the most iconic villains from different franchises, with the main character being Emperor Palpatine.

In this new video, the Sith Lord fights his boredom while in self-quarantine at his pub. Once Palpatine kicked out his villain friends, he locked the doors of his pub and started cleaning stuff to pass some time. When he finished the chores, he found himself with nothing to do. HAL 9000 suggests that the Sith Lord should do something to keep himself entertained.

The next scene then cuts to Palpatine, singing karaoke, with lyrics that joke about cloning, which is a detail recently revealed about the character, as well as his saga being "dead" just like Darth Maul's. There was also a scene where it seemingly references the people going to the beach despite orders to stay at home.

Cut to a hilarious scene where Palpatine plays Fallen Order, where his player falls off a cliff and is alive again. "I wonder where they got that idea from!" he said in the video. The clip also references Gal Gadot's "Imagine" video where she sang with multiple actors. But what the Sith Lord was watching is a version where heroes from Marvel and DC are singing the song. Wonder Woman starts the song, of course, followed by Hulk, Batman, and Thor. You can check out the hilarious Villain Pub video below!

Not only did the video provide some laughs, but it also sends a message, for people who can, to stay at home and to fight the urge to give up because some people have it far worse. The video ends with Palpatine finding out that it has only been 2 hours since he locked his place, and said, "Everyone do their part so we can knock this thing out!"

Emperor Palpatine returns in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which is now available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD.
