Eminem Lashes Out At Netflix For The Punisher Cancellation

There is little doubt that fans are still seething after Netflix decided to cancel The Punisher after a truly amazing second season. Not surprisingly, even Eminem is unhappy with what happened to the Marvel series and he's making sure the streaming giant knows they will completely regret it.

The rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, took to Twitter to lash out at Netflix for the shocking cancellation of The Punisher. Take a look at his tweet below.

"DEAR @NETFLIX, REGARDING YOUR CANCELLATION OF THE PUNISHER, YOU ARE BLOWING IT!! SINCERELY, MARSHALL," Eminem wrote.

The Real Slim Shady isn't the only one who is deeply upset by the show's cancellation. Several fans have vowed that they would cease their Netflix subscription now that the Marvel shows have all been canceled.

Marvel and Netflix have previously pulled the plug on Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and The Defenders. Not surprisingly, people were worried that the same thing would happen to The Punisher after the premiere of Season 2. The streaming service waited until a month after the show's release before making an announcement.

It was also confirmed that Jessica Jones would be canceled after Season 3. The third season of the Krysten Ritter series has not yet been given a premiere date.

But what are the chances that the Marvel shows will be picked up by a different streaming service? There have been reports that the shows could find a new home either in Disney+ or Hulu. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any announcement yet on the future of these shows.
