Emily Vancamp Teases Sharon Carter's Plans After The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Power Broker Reveal

It's official: Sharon Carter has been confirmed to be Power Broker and it looks like she has no plans on turning her back on the life she has been leading. But what could this mean after the events in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? Emily Vancamp has teased Sharon's plans for the future.

In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6, Sharon confirmed she is Power Broker while talking to Karli Morgenthau. The revelation wasn't exactly a huge surprise considering that fans have been taking note of all the clues. Nevertheless, nobody expected Sharon to continue being Power Broker when she was reinstated in the CIA.

The mid-credits scene featured Sharon telling someone on the phone that she now has access to government resources. This is an interesting move that already has people wondering if she will become an even bigger villain in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So what is Sharon planning? Vancamp told Marvel that her character's intentions are no longer as noble as they were in Captain America: Civil War.

"Obviously, she has a much bigger plan and it's not for the greater good like it used to be. As the person playing the character, I understand that perspective; she doesn't trust the government anymore and she wants to stick it to them a little bit," Vancamp said.

But does she already know what Sharon's plans are? "I don't know. We'll see," Vancamp added.

There have already been speculations that Sharon's story arc in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was actually leading up to Armor Wars. After all, the new series is expected to explore what happens when Stark tech ends up in the wrong hands. There's a huge possibility that Power Broker is the culprit in the new show.
