A recent report confirmed that Emily in Paris is still set to film in Paris, France when season 5 begins production in the first week of May next year.

The series will also be partly shot in Rome, Italy given that the titular character will be living there when we see her at the beginning of the next season.

This is exciting news for fans of the series since we have a confirmation that the French DNA will still be very much present in season 5 despite Emily's supposed move to Italy.

It is also good news for French President Emmanuel Macron, who has publicly expressed his wishes for the series to continue filming in Paris.

"We will fight hard. And we will ask them to remain in Paris! Emily in Paris in Rome doesn‘t make sense," he said in an interview months ago.

Now, Macron's wishes have been granted as the series will remain in Paris even if Emily will still be living in Rome when they return.
