Emilia Clarke Says She’s Already Done Shooting Daenerys' Final Moment On Game Of Thrones

It looks like Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke has already finished filming the final on-screen moments of the fantasy series' Dragon Queen, Daenerys Targaryen.

Speaking in an interview with Vanity Fair, Clarke revealed that she had already filmed a key scene for the Mother of Dragons. According to the British actress, the experience left her shaken, saying that "it f-ked me up. Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone's mouth of what Daenerys is."

Sure, Game of Thrones still might have a lot more episodes to film for its eighth and final season, hearing that Clarke filmed Daenery's final moment in the series is nothing short of worrisome and exciting.

Daenerys has gone through a lot in the series, starting off as a slave, becoming the unwilling wife of a beastly Khal and turning into a powerful Dragon Queen. Hearing that Daenery's final moment "f-cked" Clarke makes us wonder whether the Mother of Dragons might make it out alive or whether she might die fighting White Walkers in the series. There's been a lot of speculation that Daenerys might die in the war to come, leaving the Iron Throne to her nephew and her lover, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington).

If she does, however, Clarke reminds us that the scene will leave "fans a lasting flavour...of what Daenerys is." If she does die, Khaleesi's going to go out with a bang.

Game of Thrones season 8 is expected to premiere sometime next year.
