HBO's final Game of Thrones season has been interesting, to say the least. It seems like every episode ever since the third one has been controversial and the penultimate installment is no different. The fifth episode of this season has gotten mixed reactions from fans and critics alike but fans who have decided to look back noticed something interesting; Emilia Clarke knew how bad it was going to be.
Or it seems that way.
Fans on Twitter noticed in an old interview with ET when Clarke was asked about her thoughts with the final season. She made a weird face before answering and called it the "best season ever," which looked a bit forced and unnatural. Honestly, she might have been right since a lot of Daenerys Targaryen fans are pretty pissed at her development, though some feel like those seeds of her insanity were planted a long time ago.
Sure, some fans might just be looking at this clip to vent about this final season, but it does have its fair share of defenders. Everyone was hoping that she would rise above her lineage and be merciful but it seems like they went too far and surrender just wasn't an option for her.
Anyone else thinks that she's going to die?
Game of Thrones has one more episode left and will debut this weekend, so get ready.
