ELRIS adapted changes years after their debut.

In June 2017, ELRIS formally entered the K-pop scene with their first EP, We, First. Three months later, they dropped their second EP, Color Rush.

For two years, the girl group remained connected to their fans by dropping their third EP, Summer Dream, and digital single, Miss U, before welcoming two new members EJ and Chaejong, in February 2020.

But after having one project as a seven-membered group, they waited for nearly two years before transferring to their new agency, IOK Company. Now that they are all settled, the group confirmed their rebranding before offering a new project to fans.
