Fans are about to see the last episode of Ellen Pompeo in Grey's Anatomy Season 19. The actress has already penned her goodbye to the series and the show's fans, though she promised she'll return.

Grey's Anatomy helped Pompeo's career launch into the stratosphere and become one of the world's highest-paid actresses. So, how much is her salary from the long-running series and the net worth she has amassed?

The Successful Career of Ellen Pompeo

The 53-year-old's career began when she moved to New York City, and a casting director signed her up for a L'Oréal ad campaign.

She then debuted on the NBC legal drama Law & Order and guest-starred on other TV shows. She debuted on the big screen in the movie Coming Soon and had other small roles in different films.

From there, she started to gain wider recognition when she did the drama Moonlight Mile, but her rise to international prominence began when she led the medical drama Grey's Anatomy.

Outside of the ABC series, Pompeo was also part of the movies Old School, Daredevil, Art Heist, and Life of the Party.

She also tried her hands at directing, helming two Grey's Anatomy episodes, and founded a production company of her own called Calamity Jane.

Ellen Pompeo's Grey's Anatomy Salary and Net Worth
