It can't be argued that Elizabeth Olsen is one of, if not the actual MVP of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Four but her journey was seemingly put to a close after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. For years, fans have been pleading with Marvel Studios to give the actress her long overdue solo film and while we ended up getting WandaVision, that clearly wasn't enough to satisfy the fandom's desire to see Wanda Maximoff in her standalone movie.

Olsen said she's always down to reprise her role in future projects and while she doesn't know what the future holds for Wanda, she jokingly said in an interview that she wants to see the fandom torment Marvel Studios into doing the film and lo and behold, that's what they're doing.

Ahead of D23, fans have started a movement on Twitter in an attempt to take over the event which they simply called "Wanda23". If you may recall, Olsen's supporters did something similar during San Diego Comic-Con weekend but unfortunately, no Scarlet Witch project was announced.

Will the second time be the charm? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Check out some of the tweets below:

Considering Wanda has yet to get her true redemption arc, I'm definitely in favor of seeing her return to the franchise. And let's be real here, Marvel Studios would be foolish not to capitalize on her hype and popularity. Personally, if they were to do a solo Wanda film, I'd love to see it happen in 2024 when the character celebrates her 60th anniversary. I think that would be very fitting.

D23 Expo 2022 is happening from September 9 to 11. Meanwhile, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is streaming on Disney+.
