Elizabeth Olsen Smiles and Shrugs When Asked About Avengers 4 Status

Elizabeth Olsen's portrayal of the Scarlet Witch impressed a lot of people during Avengers: Infinity War, with many claiming that she was the strongest Avenger. The fact that she was able to hold off Thanos and kill The Vision by herself was impressive, but it was all for naught thanks to the Time Stone. After the finger snap, Wanda faded into dust like everyone else, which is making fans assume that she could be brought back in Avengers 4.

Olsen recently took part in the WIRED series on YouTube, where celebrities look at sought-after questions about them on the internet. The actress eventually reached a question of her status in Avengers 4 and all she could do was smile and shrug. It's probably the only thing she's allowed to do, given how top secret Marvel has been with these past few Avengers movies.

Fans seem confident that she will be back for the movie since most of the characters who were turned into dust have more movies to star in. Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are likely to come back, though characters like Loki and Gamora might not be lucky.

Then again, there are rumors that Loki and Scarlet Witch are getting their own shows for the upcoming Disney Play service, but those haven't been 100% confirmed yet. Still, don't think Marvel is just going to leave her dead since the character has a considerably huge fanbase and could still be used for future films.

Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019, and is set after the events of Infinity War and will likely focus on the remaining Avengers who were not turned into dust. Captain America and Black Widow are getting bigger roles according to the Russos, plus it looks like Ant-Man also has a role to play after the events of his sequel.
