Most of you are probably unaware of this piece of television trivia but long before she ruled the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Scarlet Witch, Elizabeth Olsen actually tried out for Game of Thrones and auditioned for the lead role of Daenerys Targaryen. Obviously, she wasn't able to secure the role but recent reports have indicated that she could get her shot at redemption.

According to reports, Elizabeth has signed on to appear in Season 2 of House of the Dragon along with Superman actor Henry Cavill. It turns out that the WandaVision actress is well aware of the said rumors and quickly dismissed their legitimacy during an appearance at Variety's Power of Women event last week.

In a new interview with the outlet, Olsen admits that she keeps up with House of the Dragon but that doesn't necessarily mean that she's joining the show. According to the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actress, she finds the recent casting reports quite bewildering. She told Variety: "I’m up to date on ‘House of the Dragon.’ Also, how random. Why him? Why me? … I don’t even know that guy, either!"
