The Cowboy Bebop live-action series might have viewers divided on whether they loved it or hated it but everyone agrees on one thing: Ein the Data Dog was absolutely perfect. The canine member of the Bebop had everybody wrapped around his furry little paw with his impeccable timing and a little cock of his head. However, the people who had to film scenes with doggy actors Harry and Charlie didn't have an easy time. The new blooper reel focuses on Ein misbehaving on the set of the Netflix show!
The Ein blooper reel was originally shared in the special online event Cowboy Bebop: Unlocked where John Cho and Daniella Pineda spoke about working with the Welsh Corgis who played the Data Dog. However, Netflix has since released the video so fans can rewatch it over and over again. Check it out below.
It's hilarious to see that Harry and Charlie didn't always nail their scenes but nobody could get mad because they were just too darn adorable. The only time the canine actors weren't misbehaving was in the legendary tango scene where Faye Valentine danced with Ein. However, that didn't make it an easy sequence to shoot since these Welsh Corgis were very heavy (reportedly 15 kgs or a little over 33 lbs)!
We're loving the Ein bloopers and there is little doubt we'll be seeing more in the future. Although Netflix has not yet made an official announcement about Cowboy Bebop Season 2, fans are already expecting to see more of the Data Dog now that he's working with Radical Ed.
